A gents 1960s Ranko wrist watch.
The watch has a hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours.
The watch measures 36mm wide excluding the winding crown and 45mm high. The case is plated and the condition is good with just light surface marks. The screw-on case back is stainless steel.
The lens is in good condition.
The metallic effect blue dial has the applied Ranko name, and is also marked 17 Jewels, Shockproof. Stick hands, centre seconds and a date display (which changes over gradually between 12 and 1). The date feature is an early quick-set in that you move the hands backwards and forwards between 1pm and 9pm repeatedly until the desired date is reached.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
