A late 18th century mahogany veneered secretaire bookcase attributed to Gillows. Below the unusual moulded shaped pediment, with brass roundel decoration and stringing, are two glazed doors with unusual carved astragal glazing bars, the doors with satinwood stringing open to reveal a shelved interior, the sides of the upper section with classic reeded turned uprights, standing on a base with pull out secretairs drawer ftted with drawers and pigeon holes with below two panelled satinwood strung doors with turned reeded columns to either side, all standing on plinth base.
