A dining suite made from limed golden quarter-sawn oak by Heal & Son of Tottenham Court Road in the 1930s. The sideboard has 2 drawers above a 2 door shelved cupboard and in each end there is a 3 bottle wine storage compartment. There is a Heals ivorine lable in one of the drawers. The finish is original and in good used condition with no bad marks. The table has an extending leaf. The base has its original finish, the top has been refinished with a practical, modern resistant varnish for ease of care. The 4 chairs have original finish and brown leather seats. The leather is "distressed" but intact with no tears and has been treated to a preservative leather-feed polish.
