This charger is a quality example of the Imari porcelain ware that was made for export during the Meiji period. It has an unglazed foot and imprints on its underside from supports used during firing.
This charger is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Some wear to the applied gold enamel on its rim commensurate with age (seen in images).
